At the office…
Freddy and Cecile: they are the general managers of the company. Freddy is Tanzanian, chef mecanician, English-French driver guide, and responsible for all the operations. He has experience and knows all tricks of the trade.
Cecile is French and responsible for the sales and marketing. She has some years of experience in the luxury tourism industry in France and lives in Tanzania since 2007. She is passionate about horses and will be your preferred consultant for your horse-riding safaris.
Celestine : is the founder of Serengeti Big Cats Safaris. It is him who created the company in 2004 and bought the safari vehicles. Unless for public relations, he leaves the management of the company to Freddy and Cecile.

In the bush…
Our driver guides :
Currently we have four permanently employed driver-guides. We also work with some other regular free-lance drivers during the high season:
Rajabu : is the first driver guide who joined us. He speaks english as well as french, has a lot of experience and knows therefore very well his job. Serious, smart and pleasant, Rajabu will lead your safari to perfection.
Bruno : is an excellent driver on rough roads. You will be seduced by his kindness and devotion. Previously assistant-guide on Mount Kilimanjaro, Bruno will obviously enjoy escorting you during all your walking activities.
Nico : is an experienced driver who knows every corner of Northern Tanzania until Lake Victoria. Dynamic, self-confident and passionate by his job, Nico will be perfect for your safaris off the beaten track and for the hobby photographs.
Omary is the last driver-guide who joined Serengeti Big Cats Safaris. After having taught French for a while, Omary went back to his original occupation for the real pleasure of our clients. Thanks to his perseverance and kindness, he will leave you with an unforgettable memory of your safari.

Our local guides :
In some remote areas, we also collaborate with local guides which are experts in their culture and native region.
Edward : is our local guide at Lake Eyasi. He will make you discover his region and the culture of Hadzabe and Datoga tribes with a lot of passion. Together with him you will be so enchanted by this destination.
Shiro : is our local Maasai guide at Lake Natron. He will lead you either around the lake, to the summit of active volcan Ol Doinyo Lengai or to the streams and Ngare Sero waterfalls, along the nearby escarpment, for a fantastic adventure off the beaten track. He is proud of his Maasai origins and can tell you a lot about it.
Nairowa : is our local Maasai guide at Longido. He will be responsible for your camp and will guide you during your walking safaris in the bush and make you discover his region and Maasai tribe.

In the kitchen…
Gerald Abell is our preferred chef, very experienced in the bush as well as on Mount Kilimanjaro. He will know how to prepare you everyday delicious meals. His sense of humour, his charisma and especially his excellent soups make all our clients totally happy.
Winston is certainly our most multi-task chef. As well as preparing excellent dishes, he knows perfectly the bush, Mount Meru and the southern parks. His experience brings a precious help to our guides, on the mountain or during trekkings in the Maasai areas.
Gerald Ulomi is our most inventive chef. His excellent meals and his methods in the kitchen make all of our clients happy. It is absolutely sure that his cuisine will delight your taste-buds who will remind of your Tanzanian safari for long…
Kanael is also one or our experienced chefs who will delight you each day by his kindness and the quality of his cuisine.

On the mountain…
Hamisi will lead you to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro or Mount Meru. He is english and french speaking and licensed mountain guide. He will know how to react toward all your difficulties and will lead you to the roof of Africa. He will be escorted by his fellow guide Chami. Discreet, but pleasant and useful, Chami will be here to assist you during your trekking. He also plans to start French class in the near future.
Arnold, Peter, Calvin, Vumilia and Ima are among the porters who will escort you during your ascent.
