Zanzibar

The archipelago of Zanzibar is composed of three main islands and numerous smaller islands. The two islands of Unguja and Pemba are close to each other, but the third, Mafia, is much further south.
For centuries, Zanzibar was a major hub of slavery and ivory trade. Unguja (Zanzibar) has beautiful white sand beaches lined with coconut palms, spectacular submarine seascapes and beautiful spice plantations.
Zanzibar is a mixture of Africa, Middle East and India. Walking through the many streets of the old city of Stone Town, the Zanzibar's soul, you will feel this special atmosphere.

Pemba

Located about 80 km north of Zanzibar, Pemba is the second largest island of the archipelago. Clove is cultivated on this hilly island with luxuriant vegetation.
Pemba draws for its beautiful beaches, mangrove and coral reef that is home to many marine species and offers exceptional diving spots.

Chapwani Private Island

In front of Stone Town, Chapwani is a small private island on which a charming hotel of 10 rooms has been built.
Each room is decorated differently, with local materials and crafts. A small swimming pool, restaurant and bar will be available.
On Chapwani, you can enjoy the small beach or do snorkeling. A shuttle boat to Stone Town is scheduled every 15 minutes.

Chumbe Island

Located 30 minutes by boat south of Stone Town, Chumbe Island is classified as protected nature reserve. It is an hotel-island with 7 bungalows where you can live a completely authentic experience.
In fact, ecology is the key word on the island, there is no air conditioning in the rooms, the water is heated by solar panels and waste is recycled on site. The cuisine is prepared with fresh local produces.
On Chumbe Island, accommodation comprises, in addition to the full pension and free drinks, two guided activities per day: discovery of the forest, snorkeling, visit of the lighthouse and the mosque of the island.
Chumbe Island is a small paradise on earth.

Bawe Tropical Island

Located 30 minutes by boat west of Stone Town, Bawe Tropical Island is a tiny hotel-island that will appeal to visitors looking for an exceptional stay far from the rest of the world.
More luxurious than Chapwani and less environmental than Chumbe, the 15 cottages Bawe Island are facing the sea, with private terrace. A beautiful swimming pool and a spa are also available.
Bawe is an ultimate and exclusive place, where you can stay in peace.
Please note that children under 16 are not allowed on the island.

Mafia Island

Mafia is located further south, about 150 km from Dar Es Salaam. Very few tourists visit this island, preferring its neighbour Zanzibar, but Mafia is a jewel in the Indian Ocean with beautiful underwater seascapes.
The beaches are a paradise and you can visit the picturesque fisher villages.
